Yesterday the cubs participated in the outdoor activity day as part of the district.
Activities included orienteering, problem solving games, archery, crate stacking and snow-tubing.
During the orienteering activity, the group was split into two, with one group going out at a time, whilst the other group partook in problem solving exercises. The young people seemed to really enjoy the problem solving activities.
The archery was done outside as the weather was generally good, and most of the young people could at least hit the target!
I think the favourite activity was the snow-tubing which took place right at the end. This was really fun, and we’re going to have to book this up again some time in the future for definite.
