In this introductory session, the young people were reminded of the cub-scout law and their promise.

We shared with each other what we had done over the Christmas holidays, and what we got for Christmas.

We also went over the code of conduct and what we expect everyone to adhere to when at cubs.

After playing some games, like wounded soldier, stuck in the mud, dodgeball and duck duck goose, we moved on to what we had in store for the next 12 weeks and what we were going to be doing this year.

Next week we’re going to be covering food safety, the different food groups, and we will take the first of three groups of cubs into the kitchen, to make a spaghetti bolognese!
