At scouts last night, the young people built bridges with cardboard, with the ultimate goal of having the strongest bridge.

They were taught about strengthening their bridges, building a bridge with strong bases and had a test (which involved sitting on their bridges and placing heavy books onto them) to see which one was the best.

There were some particularly good bridges, with Euan’s group performing especially well under his leadership, but this one featured in this post was incredibly beefy!

There were multiple designs, some suspension bridges, some simple two pillared bridges, and some very chunky multi-layered bridges.
