Christmassy Painting

Tonight, the cubs finished off work on their emergency aid badges. They took part in ‘First Aid Bingo’ where they had to tick off the answers to questions. So for example, if they were asked ‘What is the name given to the condition where somebody is too cold?’ they would cross of hypothermia on their bingo sheet.

Congratulations to Patrick and Theo who won the bingo!

Next, we painted some wooden ornaments – some had trees, some had ‘Merry Christmas’ signs and some had little wooden jewelry boxes.

Here’s Johnny J and Ellie painting their Christmassy ornaments.

Henry’s Christmas tree is decorated with rudeness…

These things are being sold at The Works at the Metrocentre if you’re interested, they’re only £1.50 each which is a steal!

Theo is painting his wintry village – it looked absolutely fantastic when it was done!

Harry looks busy here painting his ‘Merry Christmas’ sign.

And finally here is our red sixer, George, painting his box.

At the end of the night the cubs were given their Emergency aid level 3 badges. Some were given their athletics activities badge too.

Next weekend we’re bowling at Namco in the Metrocentre. We’ll start at 18:00, so we’ll meet at 17:50 or so. If the cubs are not coming bowling, we’ll see you after the Christmas break.
